Attribution for Info Products & Courses
Info-product funnels often combine cold ads, opt-ins, webinars or VSLs, email nurture, front-end purchases and higher-ticket back-end offers. The customer journey can therefore be longer than a simple checkout path suggests.
Separate funnel milestones
Track opt-in, webinar registration, attendance, application, purchase and refund as distinct events. Do not optimize to the easiest event if it is weakly connected to revenue.
Connect email and paid media carefully
Email may close a sale that paid media originally created. Last-touch reporting can over-credit email or direct traffic; first-touch can ignore nurture. Multi-touch views can help explain both roles.
Account for launches and evergreen funnels
Live launches create time-bound conversion spikes; evergreen funnels produce more distributed delays. Use cohort reporting so timing does not distort channel comparisons.
Software fit
HYROS and Wicked Reports are both relevant to long-funnel digital businesses. Evaluate CRM/payment integrations, attribution windows and how each system handles back-end offers.
